1) The support crew drove ahead of the riders and did an excellent job establishing rest points for refreshments.
2) At the start outside The Mall Shopping Centre Bexleyheath the team posed for press pictures with representatives from the two supported charities.
3) A great shot of Sergeant Steve Bateman, ‘not lost somewhere in Belgium’.
4-7) At the start of each section of the ride the team were together until they warmed up and split up as each found their individual pace - except of course if on a tandem.
8-9) At the start of each day there was a team briefing with map orienteering.
10) Only a few breakdowns this year but a welcome few minutes rest during repairs.
11) Long way to go, worth doing, fringe benefits.
12) Relax and let momentum take you where you want to go.
13) All arrived safely in t’ Zand square Bruges.
14) Thanks to these Bruges police motorcycle outriders who for the last four miles rode ahead of the column stopping traffic and giving the riders a clear road ahead.
